A Jewish woman should not be a midwife for a Non-Jew³Since she helps to increase the number of pagan worshippers. This reason given in the Halakhah is (incorrectly) part of the Mishnah in some Babli and Mishnah texts. but a Non-Jew may be a midwife for a Jewish woman.
